This study aimed to translate, adapt, apply, and evaluate the materials of a North American psychological intervention program to promote meaning in life in Brazilian university students. The first stage of the study presents the process of translating materials and the adaptations for carrying out the intervention online. The results of this stage showed that the translated version of the materials gave semantic, conceptual, and cultural equivalence. The second stage consisted of applying and evaluating the intervention in a pilot group. The participants assessed the intervention positively and mentioned that participating in the intervention helped construct meaning in life, which was considered necessary, mainly due to the experience of the consequences of social isolation caused by the pandemic.
